NFOH Volunteer Cleanup in Mladá Boleslav

On Wednesday, July 1, the traditional volunteer cleanup organized by the Foundation for Holocaust Victims once again took place in Mladá Boleslav.

Despite the rainy weather, the volunteers were not discouraged. They enthusiastically set to work clearing and mowing another section of the extensive Jewish cemetery in Mladá Boleslav, focusing especially on cleaning its oldest surviving gravestones.
Thanks to the large number of participants, the work quickly spread across the entire cemetery, with everyone finding an area to which they devoted their time and effort.

The Mladá Boleslav Jewish Cemetery is one of the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic, with nearly 1,600 gravestones. We are very grateful that this volunteer event takes place every year.
